Update: Google has officially revealed that Android Q will be called Android The timeline of Android Q rollout for Mi A3 is yet to be revealed by the company.

But considering Google Pixel 4 series is coming soon with Android Q we expect the latest Android One phone from Mi to get the latest Android version before the end of this year. Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Redmi K20 series will get Android Q update very soon. The Mi A3 gets added to the list.

What is Android One? Phones running on Android One software from Google offer stock Android experience to users. Earlier today, Xiaomi surprised owners of the Redmi Note 8 Pro by finally releasing the stable global Android 10 update. The company is on a roll, apparently, and has now begun to deliver the much-anticipated Android 10 update to owners of the Mi A3.

Xiaomi Mi A3 will be one of the first smartphones to get Android 10

The update weighs in at 1. Xiaomi has said that this update may not get to all Mi A3 owners immediately, and there may be a reason for that—in typical Xiaomi fashion, it appears to be extremely buggy. Owners of the Mi A3 are complaining abouty a number of bugs including:. That trend started with the Mi A1 back in , and it's a shame to see it continue till now. The company took its sweet time with the release of this update for the Mi A3, and owners of the phone are likely to be relieved if—a tad disappointed—at how drawn out the saga was.

The number of bugs available on this build is unlikely to thrill owners of the phone, though. Considering how buggy it is, it would be wise, perhaps, for owners of the A3 to remain on Android Pie until a more functional build is released. Both of these phones are blazingly fast. They will rip through anything you throw at them, that much is certain. They're great for gaming, browsing, media consumption, well, pretty much anything you can do with your phone.

Both phones come with really well-optimized software to back those powerful internals. If we had to nitpick, we'd say that the Mi 10 Pro may be a fraction of a second faster when it comes to opening up apps and games, but the vast majority of people won't even notice the difference.

The phone also includes the Snapdragon SoC, which is a generation newer than the Snapdragon Plus. That ultimately gives the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro more power. As most of you know, that doesn't need to mean much in terms of battery life, and that's just the case here. Both of these phones can get over 7 hours of screen-on-time, but it all depends on how you use them.

I personally don't game much during my regular day, on most days not at all, but I still manage to get phones over hours of screen on time on a daily basis. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro offered slightly better battery life, but its battery is newer, and larger, plus the display resolution is lower. So take that into account. All in all, they both offer great battery life, so you won't be disappointed in that regard. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro does offer faster charging, though.

The Mi 10 Pro also offers 30W wireless charging, which is plenty fast. OnePlus' flagship, on the other hand, does not offer wireless charging at all. If you need to top off your watch or fully wireless earbuds by any chance, the Mi 10 Pro can do that as well, as it supports 5W reverse wireless charging.

Mi A1 Incoming Call Problem

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is the winner in this category. Both OnePlus and Xiaomi have improved camera quality on their flagships quite a bit. Both of these phones are quite compelling in this regard, in pretty much all scenarios.

I wouldn't say they're the best around, not at all, but they're really, really good. In daylight conditions, they both shoot extremely sharp, well-balanced images, with plenty of detail.

So close to perfection; not quite reaching it

The dynamic range is also great, so nothing to worry about here. Ultrawide angle cameras can also provide really good images in these conditions, though a bit softer than main sensors, of course. When the light goes away, they can both light up a scene really well. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro has issues with street lights, sometimes, while the OnePlus 7T Pro is a bit weaker when it comes to details in such lighting conditions. So, each of them has its own positives and negatives, but they're both really good. We prefer selfies from the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, if that's something you're interested in, as long as you don't mind looking a tad bit unrealistic.

If you prefer more realistic selfies, the OnePlus 7T Pro is a better choice. When it comes to cameras, these two phones are on the same playing field. They both include stereo speakers, which are similarly-placed.
