They have been reliable and tough beyond when they are obsolete, today's Lenovo-Moto still seem that way. Stock Android make phones Android One like even before the program started. Everything works per spec sheet, but Moto phones suffers in ergonomics that differ per model, but not the durability or build quality. For the Z3Play, the speaker volume is weak except in speaker phone, but the voice quality remains land-line like. In a car, I can barely hear the Moto Voice or Google Voice through the phone's native speaker, compared side by side with my Droid Maxx, same with system sounds like clicks, they are fainter, but overall the pluses are more than minuses.
I'm not too sure if the screen won't crack with a fall, as the phone is the biggest I've ever owned, and the case lacks the rubber like frame, its all glass back to front. I also find the camera sticks out, while most are recessed in the case, making it also vulnerable to damage, so this is the first phone I've owned I got a slim case for, as well as a tempered glass screen protector. Call screening is so good I gave up my custom app that did that for me and the camera I use daily a lot for insurance work and is a joy to use.
AMOLED is sharper and brighter except in bright sunlight, and all my apps work quickly and so far, zero wait. I don't miss the headphone jack as I use bluetooth.
SD internal storage configuration is wow, my phone has a whopping GB of storage, and the specs say it supports to 2 TB, we'll see when those cards come available. So what's not to like? I've had many Motorola phones Pre-smartphone and after. I had one of the first smartphones on the market - the Motorola Q9C. I had a lot of Motorola's after that. I've always loved them. I've never been a fan of Apple devices, but decided to try Samsung twice because of all the hype. Each time I was sorely disappointed. Let's face it - most phones have great cameras nowadays Most have great displays Most have great specs and options.
But Apple is locked down with no option for added storage without paying out the whazoo. And Samsung is so buggy in my experience anyway , and the battery life was horrible. I always come back to Motorola. They're reliable. They seem to really work to optimize Android for their devices. They're reasonably priced.
And they fix bugs. And I'm loving the mods Wow if you love Android like I do well this is your phone, don't think about it and just buy it. You won't regret it I promise. Ah very important, the camera.

O muy God the pictures that this phone takes are just gorgeous. If only my eyes were this good. Mine keep deteriorating. Moto cameras keep evolving. Even the razor camera was good at the time.
